February Scholarships Alert – 42 Scholarships closing this month

With the rising cost of college education, it is no wonder many students turn to scholarships and student loans to augment their family savings and eligible financial aid.

The average cost of tuition and fees for the 20162017 school year was $33,480 at private colleges, $9,650 for state residents at public colleges, and $24,930 for out-of-state residents attending public universities, according to the College Board. At some private colleges, this cost could rise to hundreds of thousands of dollars for a four year degree, based on a recent Forbes article.

The good news is that scholarships, unlike student loans don’t have to be paid back. And for this reason, every student should consider applying for a scholarship.

While there are thousands of scholarships out there, it is always important to know the deadlines and to get your application in time. If you are still struggling to find a scholarship that’s right for you, no worries! We are here to help.

To make sure you don’t miss out, we’ve compiled below a list of over 40 scholarships that are closing this month. There is still time to apply for the scholarships below, but don’t wait because they all close in February.
